In fuga con Garibaldi

Montaguti PalaceIn August 1849 the general Giuseppe Garibaldi, chased bt the papal army, crossed with and underground movement all the region of Romagna from the sea side to the border with Tuscany. That escape had one of its most dramatic moment in the neightborood of Dovadola, where the unsealed road of the old days are still there to welcome the past catcher.

The big and old trees

The century-old oak of Trebbana Easy walk in the shadow of the oldest trees of the Casentinesi's Forest National Park. Impressive natural heritages that in their five centuries old histories have been through plenty of adventoures and changes.

The old highway of the Roman pilgrims

beechWalking from London to Rome, the Medieval pilgrims crossed the Apennines through the Serra pass. Hike through the same route and tread upon the same stone pathway.

To the partisans' hut

Cascata del LavaneTotally self-managed overnight stay at the top of Mount Lavane, where in July 1944 took place one of the main battle between the nazy army and the local resistance fighter. Today the remote hut ideally suite the "spartan" hikers willing to enjoy a sunset without traces of city lights.

The sacred loop: San Bendetto, Trebbana e Gamogna

Gamogna hermitageTwo days of hard walking to hike past two of the main religious centres of the Nothern Apennines. Long upward and downward slopes among the abbeyd that placed a few milestone of the political history of the area.

A night in the half house

Ca SasselloAt Ca' Sassello you have got a mezzanine floor to sleep, a fire place to barbe a few chops and a small basin to do the dishes. You have got all the basic, but you only get half of it, cause half of the house was deleted by its story.
